Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

You shall love the LORD your Godwith all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals o your forehead.

You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Thanksgiving 2008

As we always do, we spent Thanksgiving in Eunice at my parents house. It was wonderful as always. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins Hans and Anya. We had a lot of family members that were not able to attend but we enjoyed the fellowship with those who were there. This is going to be our last Thanksgiving in the country for a while. I know that the next few years will be difficult as we deal with homesickness around this time of year. I wanted to post some pictures for everyone to enjoy. There are a few that not from Thanksgiving. The ones in the red dress up clothes were from Saturday when we did a grandkid photo shoot for my mom before we leave. The video is of the grandkids singing with my mom. To those of you in the family who were not here with us, we missed you and we love you lots.
