Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

You shall love the LORD your Godwith all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.

You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals o your forehead.

You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Week of March 3, 2008

OOOHHH.. I am behind on updating aren't I. Well I wanted to post some pics for you all and keep you updated on what is going on here in North Louisiana.

Aaron did have his speech evaluation and his stuttering is pretty severe. They are turning info into the insurance company so hopefully they will pay for the therapy. Aaron is also trucking right along with reading. I am amazed more and more each day at the depth of biblical knowledge he is gaining at his school. God has blessed us tremendously with this school and I pray that we will be able to send them there as long as possible.

Logan is about the same. He is climbing over the baby gates and really pushing the limits. I can already see the writing on the wall (can anyone say "The Strong Willed Child"). I love the way he is so laid back and full of laughter but it is frustrating when he continues to disobey. I laughed at the "terrible two's" when I had Aaron but boy Logan sure is giving it some definition. There is no way some one could spend time with him and not see our natural sin nature and our need for salvation.

John did not get the job he interviewed for. He was slightly disappointed but we know that God is in control and his plan is perfect. Please continue to pray for him as it is difficult to deal with the political stuff in the military on a day to day basis.

I am still doing the same old things. I am really enjoying the bible study we are doing in our M.O.B. (Mom's on the Battlefield) group. We are doing "Lies Women Believe" by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. I was a little apprehensive that it would be a topical how to, but it has not been. It is pretty powerful and I recommend it to anyone.

Well I guess that is pretty much all that is going on here. I hope you enjoy looking at the pics.
1. The boys eating together at the bar (Logan thinks he is so big now)
2. Playing on the trampoline with daddy
3. Logan being a ham as usual.
4. Logan fell asleep while drawing on the magna doodle..(did not even finish the picture)
5. Logan handing me his bowl saying "All Done!"
